Barcelona is beautiful! A mix of modern and old world charm. Stayed one night at the lovely Royal Ramblas Hotel on the popular La Rambla. Walked La Rambla to the Gothic Quarter to see the Cathedral of Barcelona and the Picasso Museum. Mike also walked to the waterfront and saw some very strange statues along the way (real people in costume and makeup!). Boarded our ship on the afternoon of the second day. Embarkation was amazingly quick and easy (the cruise line has the whole cruise experience down to a science!).
