Took a tour to visit Pisa and Florence. Stopped at Pisa first and walked Miracle Square to see the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, and Baptistery. In Florence, walked to the Santa Croce Square to see the church and have some gelato. Continued to Signoria Square where copies of great sculptures reside (e.g, Michelangelo's David). Continued to Ponte Vecchio to see the bridge and river. Walked several blocks to the fine italian restaurant, Sabatini's, for lunch. Wasn't Emma's cup of tea, but it was nice to be indoors where it was cool! After lunch, walked to the stunning Duomo Cathedral and Baptistry. Continued to the Academy of Fine Arts to see the real works of Michelangelo and others. Shockingly, the David is far larger in real life than imagined! Simply awesome to see.
