At the end of June, we celebrated Emma's 8th birthday at home with some of her friends from school (sitting on sofa from left to right are Ruchi, Audrey, Emma, Zoe, and Hannah). During the summer, Emma got to play with her friend Ruchi many times before she moved to Texas with her family. In August, Chloe and her Mom, Carla, traveled from Southern California to visit us in Seattle for a couple days before school started. Emma and Chloe climbed lots of trees at our house (first picture in front yard) and at Discovery Park during our three mile walk. They also went swimming at the local Magnolia pool and had fun playing together in general.
