Mike joined the local Sinfonia and Community Band so he could play his flute. In January, the Sinfonia performed "Peter and the Wolf" on Shaw Island with local children acting out the story. Mike bought a bass flute so he could play the duck part along with the oboe player. Emma really enjoyed watching the performance, especially the part where the wolf eats the ducks. Right when the narrator paused, she blurted out "It looks like the wolf ate the ducks for real" which made everyone around us laugh.
