Virginia Trip, June 2026

Stayed with Emma at her new apartment in Falls Church, Virginia. Visited Monticello on Friday (and got to see an amazing 80 something-year-old Jefferson actor give us his account of 1826), hiked Great Falls National Park along the Potomac river on Saturday morning, played mini golf on the 15 story roof of an office building at Tyson's Corner (beautiful landscaping!) on Saturday afternoon, visited the Native American Museum, Arboretum, and African American Museum in DC on Sunday and had dinner at really nice vegan Sushi place, and visited the shopping mall at Tyson's Corner to stay cool before we flew home on Monday evening.
